Arctic Cream Granite Worktops

It is always interesting when we get a stone that we have never seen before through our workshops, but never more so than when we did this installation for Mr and Mrs N from Oxted, Surrey.

They chose Arctic Cream from our regular wholesale suppliers Gerald Culliford and we fabricated the worktops for installation in their new, open-plan kitchen.

We were delighted to do this bespoke granite worktop installation, in liaison with Cullifords, and to the satisfaction of the customers:

The overall view of the kitchen shows the Belfast sink and cream coloured range – the white and cream both being colours which are also present in the background shades of Arctic Cream.	The glints of pearly iridescence in Arctic Cream are hard to capture in a photograph, but something of the unusual look of this stone can be seen here.


The black "dashes" in the stone almost appear to have been painted with a pen or fine brush.	The Swan-neck monobloc dual lever mixer tap, with its porcelain handles, complements the ceramic sink as well as the colours in the granite.


The L-shaped piece that links the sink area to the range was made in one piece. Here our standard bevel finish to the internal corner can be seen in detail.	The drainer area to the right of the sink has 5 grooves running parallel into the Belfast. This is our most common arrangement of drainage grooves for Belfast and undermounted sinks.
